Has anyone read Women Who Love Psychopaths, Inside the Relationships of Inevitable Harm With Psychopaths, Sociopaths & Narcissists by Sandra L. Brown

I bought it, haven't read it yet but plan to start and was wondering if anyone else had heard of it or read it.

I subscribe to her newsletter and each one has a featured article. The last two hit home. It sounds like making a case for the 180 otherwise continue to be drawn into their drama and trauma. Even though I haven't seen or been around xWSO in a long time I'd still been letting him draw me in via phonecalls and texts and this makes a case for cutting him off from contact completely.

Apparently since the material is copyrighted I thought I'd better delete it and just provide the website insead:

Hi Uni! I've been subcribing to her e-newsletter for at least a year and haven't gotten the hint until now....slow learner I am!

This fits my interaction to him to a tee. The things he has said and done had continued to create emotional reactions in me and I can't remember what it's like to NOT have the adrenalin rushes so it's time for me to "get it" that he truly has a disorder that is long since out of my hands.

He called three times last night to my no answer....and I need to read and re-read this AND the book to continue to gain and maintain my strength in this very sick situation!

Well, I'm proud of you for resisting getting back on the wacko rodeo with him. It's really a tuff habit to break, but you're getting there.

Did I miss the link to the site? I'd like to get the emails too. I'm not married to or love a psychopath but I am related to more than one, sigh...

Sorry Uni...here's the link:

On the right hand side you will see where you can sign up for her newsletter that has the articles I posted above.

Really insightful stuff that I was admittedly resistant to for a while but just like I should have BELIEVED the red flags as they were popping up with him, it all continues to fall in place though has been a slooooow and loooong process.
