An intriguing book, written in a simplistic by very effective style, exploring the relationships between three college friends and the devastating effect one of the actions of those friends has on their future families. A few twists in the mix. I thoroughly enjoyed it and took my mind off all the other dramas in my life. A thoroughly good read either by deckchair on a sunny day with vodka and tonic or huddled up round the fire covered in a cashmire rug accompanied by a glass of mulled wine or a hot cocoa.

I have read and enjoyed most of her books- she reminds me of Kristin Hannah.
