I'm about halfway through this and really enjoying it.

If you're an Albert Brooks fan, you'll appreciate his worrywart attitude that comes through very clearly in his book.

It's just his perception of what America will be like in the year 2030. There are several main characters all from different backgrounds. The biggest part of the book so far is about the enormous debt America has collected and how we're all screwed

I read that awhile back and liked it until the end, which of course I won't spoil. Will look forward to hearing your review when you finish.

Being an old lady, my son asked me how I felt about Brooks' attitude toward the old. I felt the bigger part of the book was our living too long as opposed to the debt! lol
