More towards self help. I was thinking maybe Deepak Chopra might have something interesting. I haven't read any of his books but I want to look into them.

Eckhart Tolle might speak to you. And of course The Dalai Lama. "When Things Fall Apart" by Pema Chodron is also very good.

Stillness Speaks and The Power of Now, by tolle. i also like chodron, When Things Fall Apart: Heart Advice for Difficult Times and The Places that Scare You: A Guide to Fearlessness in Difficult Times are great. The getting unstuck audio book is also good.
