I'm biding my time waiting to get into my apartment (in JULY ... ack!) right now. So I just spent a week house-sitting for a colleague. He had a copy of this book on his coffee table. It's a daybook, with little bits of wisdom for each day of the year.
My colleague pointed out that when he opened it randomly it always seemed to have something for him that fit his personal situation. So I tried it the first day I was there. Lo and behold, a little tidbit I could use to work toward healing. And the next day, something to help me think about what I wanted from my future. And so on. For an entire week.
I'm not normally into these kinds of books, but it creeped me out in a good way. Once I'm settled I'm planning on getting me a copy to keep by the bedside.

I glanced at the title and saw "The Awakening" and thought Kate Chopin. Probably not the same type of book at all.
Note to self...read the whole title first.
