I think this is Molly Ringwald's first book. Don't know if she has survived infidelity, but she totally nails the emotions and craziness of a betrayed spouse. A very good book

She was interviewed on one of the morning news programs. She said no part of the book was based on her life experience. She seemed pretty sincere.

They why is she telling someone how it feels if she hasn't really experienced it herself?! 
Exit WoundsH of 17 years got gf pregnant, left our kids 9 & 11 and we never saw him again. -His choice.
