I was feeling a little nostalgic this week so I picked up a copy of The Outsiders Wow! Talked about a perspective change Reading this book after so many years was like reading a whole new book. I guess I am more grown up than I thought

Real love is a CHOICE, NOT a feeling...

That's a good read. I read it in middle school and used it with my students when I was a teacher. I had the same experience as you...viewed it differently the second time around.

I don't remember reading that when I was a kid, but I know many books I did read as a kid I look at so differently today--not just the differences in time (remember "West Side Story"), but my perspective is so different.

Thanks for reminding me to reread more books!
