Dear SI family,

I hope you'll allow me just a few minutes of your time today.

SI is a non-profit organization. All staff donate their time here on SI. MangledHeart and DeeplyScared never ask for monetary support. The choice to donate is strictly up to the individual.

There are a couple ways that happens. The "Donations" tab, Google ads, the Amazon link, and Premium membership. Costs to keep SI online and available to us is $635 a month. While the ads and links do help a little, it comes nowhere near covering all operating costs.

Being an SI member is completely free. Open to any and all. However, the option to upgrade to Premium membership gives you neat little perks such as SImplicity, (mobile friendly version of SI) access to Investigative Tips, (after 51 posts) added storage in your Private Message folder, as well as access to posts and threads in the archives dated back to 2008.

A few fellow SIers have launched a Fundraiser for SI. If we're going to donate, we're going to make it fun for everyone.

MovingUpward, affectionately known as Moo to most, is a Guide here at SI and has graciously decided to participate. http://www.survivinginfidelity.com/forums.asp?tid=484470

Please consider a donation to help keep SI going. Consider joining in on the fun in the process. Any funds that are not raised to cover the costs of running SI thru donations come directly out of MH and DS's back pocket.

$5, $50, $500, every penny helps SI. Some can give much, some little. SI benefits from it all.

I'm grateful that I found SI and I'm sure many of you can say the same thing. Help us keep SI going so that others that need it, can and will find it.

Another SIer pointed out yesterday that if you chose the credit card option for donating, you can chose to have a specific dollar amount withdrawn monthly as opposed to one big lump sum.

If all of us active, posting members were to each donate $3-5 per month, that would add up very quickly and cover operation costs for the site.

That's a great idea Aubrie!

I have definitely gotten at least $3 - $5 worth out of each month of my SI membership...and then some.

The Texas G2G starts on Friday! I've heard rumors they've got some mischief up their sleeves for Moo. Beautiful pedi for sure. They have raised the most out of all pedi cities so far. They've gotten to $345.

Can we get them to $400 before Friday!? Let's try SI!

Aubrie?....

I saw someone posted on the GTG thread that Moo could maybe use an eyebrow wax. I have never seen his eyebrows but I'd pay for a video.

Ouch. I hadn't seen that one but I did hear mention of something with lace on it. Maybe a wig, hair color...I'm not really sure what all Texas has planned. Can't wait for pictures.
