We actually did Peep bouquets (on skewers like the 2nd pic you posted) for easter breakfast centerpieces last year!

yes, the Washington Post. Sorry, I've become more local than I like to admit.

They do a contest every year, for those unfamiliar, where people make very detailed dioramas of cultural significance using peeps instead of people. People send in photos and the good ones go on display here in DC. It's really cool seeing the creativity and the pun-names.

I like the original peeps, but the flavored ones are gross (like the chocolate )

Although the ones ajsmom posted with sticks up their bums are intriguing.
