The Rolling Stones are coming to a city close to me and I'm part of a group that is bound and determined to see them for this final tour.

I've seen them twice before, both times with exWH. We loved them and had great times at those shows.

For a long time after DDay and even D, I couldn't listen to a Stones song. I slowly started to reclaim them. Little by little. Some of the songs still take me back to better times with him, but I'm not going to let that stop me. Mick and Keith are both 70 years old. This is the last go around and that fucker isn't gonna keep me away.

Good for you. Music is too important to me and I did the same thing. My favorite band is Alice in Chains and my XSO and I used to LOVE them. It took a few months, but they are my favorite again, and I would love to go see them!

You go girl! The Stones have been my fave band for many, many years. I'm dying to go see them, but Vegas is the closest venue to me (living in the middle of nowhere does have it's drawbacks), and I don't think I can get away for long enough to make it.

If you get the tickets and go.....please report back! I've been to see them 6 times, and loved the show they put on every single time.

Sometimes the hardest part of finally seeing through someone is accepting what you see...

God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to
change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me.

Love that. Never seen them but x did several times.

I read Keef's biography awhile ago. It's been quite a ride.

Been humming You Got the Silver for the last week but have no idea why. Just love that era of their journey. Let It Bleed is on my Desert Island Discs list for sure.
