Bear with me, I'm probably going to be going on about it for awhile...
Since I moved in here on Tuesday we've been having spring rains.
Been having some trouble sleeping (adjusting to a new place is always a challenge) and last night I thought I heard the mutter of a TV coming from somewhere in the house.
Turns out it was the rain on the roof and gurgling through the 100-year-old copper gutters.
I've missed that sound. Not something you hear much living in a concrete box.

I am glad you are enjoying your new place. I love the sound of rain on a roof.

I have a metal roof on my house, and I LOVE sleeping while it's raining! Best sleep EVER!!!!
It won't take you long, and you'll be in tune to your new place. I'll bet it's gonna be your happy place.

Right now it's a mess, boxes and piles of stuff everywhere, but I'm visualizing where I'm going to put my furniture when I finally finish moving everything.
The best part is there's room for a day bed for guests.
Just walking out the door in the morning to the bus stop is a treat, the street is all mansions and beautiful gardens.
And I have a dishwasher. Bonus!
