I have been having on and off again pain in my tummy area and a lot during last night. I need to be 90% good for a long upcoming drive.

I had a medical test ran yesterday and the tech said that pain at the navel can be a sypmton of an aorta aneurysm which is the most common. I thought it would be near the heart! WTH. My Dr wants tests ran for an aneurysm as he thinks I have signs of one. I asked no questions but I am totally running out of money and decided not to do that at this time. I owed a prior bill from a year ago that FT never paid. They said he only paid his bill, nice. Ugh. Its always something.

I just dont want to deal with more stuff right now!

Prayers and good thoughts much appreciated.

Sweetheart - a potential aneurysm is nothing to put off. Please find a way to get the test done. Your life could depend on it.

What Nik said. My father had an aortic aneurysm seven years ago, and that he is still with us is a miracle. It was not caught early, and he almost died. It is REALLY important to catch aneurysms early so that they can be treated. Good luck, sending mojo your way.

Aortic aneurysms are NOT to be trifled with. If it were to rupture you could bleed to death in minutes. Please find a way to take care of this. (((SV)))

Please have the test done. Maybe they can let you pay it a little each month. I'm worried about you.

This is not something to put off... in very simple terms .. it is a weakening of the wall of the aorta, you do not want your BP to rise and the weakened wall to give out.

You could bleed to death in a very short time.

This is not something to put off....

Call the center where you are having the test and explain your situation. There are ways for them to help you... ask them to help you or send you where you can get help.

Hugs,

K

I am listening. I guess I just dont care anymore. It seems so overwhelming to have all of this work and D to get thru let alone medical problems.

I will check with my other Dr soon. It seems to me this would have been caught since I had a scan some months back unless it occurred after that. And the Dr cant know and can only suspect.

I do know that you are all correct though. I just feel that I will run out of funds if these medical problems continue. He is not paying for anything. I guess he became very selfish and wants all of the funds for him and his ho. I guess not being checked will let him win since he hoped I had and died from pancreatic cancer.

You might not care - but WE do!

Prayers and good wishes sent.

Ask the doctors questions, please. My dad has an aneurysm, and they can usually be detected by a ultrasound. Thats what my doctor ordered for me, to rule one out. Find out what test your doctor wants to run, it could be simple and not as expensive as you think. But try to remember your health is priceless - just as you are.

Big hugs!

Thanks for caring~! Most of the time I block it and just dont care.

Yes, my tech said they can be detected by ultrasound. He did an ultrasound on my carotid artery. The good one now is 30% more blocked with lots of stenosis they said. Ugh.

I know I need to be checked to rule it in or out but it scares the heck out of me since Ive had some issues with heart and stroke related stuff and a swollen and numb leg.
