I'd like to buy a planter or vase but would like the piece to be a nice collectors item.

Any ideas?

So many patterns out there, some common, some ugly. I was reading a bit about resale value, I'm not interested in that, just don't want to overpay and want a good quality piece.

Thanks for any tips!

Have you been thrift shopping yet? Or checked eBay?

A lot of milkglass has been reproduced. Do your research before you spend more than a few dollars on a piece.

well, it all started when I looked at ebay and saw a planter I liked. Then reading further it stated it was a reproduction then I started research and so many patterns and years, etc. I got confused. I think I'll pass until I know what I'm doing or just buy what I like and forget about the value.

There's a lot for sale on etsy too.
