I cook A LOT. I have a 20-year-old Kitchenaid 3-speed hand mixer that is dying a slow and painful death. Anyone have a hand mixer they use allot that they love?

I bought a refurbished Kitchenaid hand mixer, 6 speed, from Kitchenaid.com about 7 years ago. I use it 3-4 times a week and it still runs like it's brand new.

Why,yes I do Cat!

I have a by-now ancient 3-speed Krups hand mixer that I was given sometime ca. '86-'89. That thing has been through it all, including at least 11 moves, and it's still going strong. I actually got rid of my stand mixer because I never needed it.

Kitchenaid's always been a good brand, too....though I can't endorse it from personal experience.

I've been quite happy with my Kitchenaid. I'm too poor to buy a stand mixer at this point, so I use it for everything.

It's this one: http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/1/1/28333-kitchenaid-9-speed-hand-mixer.html

I have a bunch of additional attachments for it too. My XMIL gave it to me for the wedding.

The mixer that s slowly giving up the ghost is a Kitchenaid.

Keep the recommendations coming. GDM almost didn't get his molasses cookies made tonight because the damn thing isn't reliable.

I got a Kitchenaid for DGD and she loves it. Got a pro model from QVC in her kitchen accent color. Cost more but also more powerful. SIL bought one used at a yard sale and has had it a few years, uses it often and loves it.
