So after a weekend with OW, WS found the phone I put in his car and took it to the police looking for a PFA!!!! I am horrified!!!! Thank god I have appointment at my lawyer tomorrow, but I fear this is going to get ugly and expensive.

What's a PFA?

HelpMe123 posted 4/21/2013 11:51 AM

basically a restraining order, for leaving a phone in his car that has a gps tracker on it. Nothing police could do, it's not illegal to leave your phone in someone's car (it was our son's phone)

hopefulmother posted 4/21/2013 11:58 AM

Screw it, he does not want to R. I know it must be really hard for you. Keep us posted about your Lawyer app. When that is done, contact the AP. You may be able to bust up that fantasy with some hard facts. Though I would want to know how long the A was going on before going to the Lawyer.

He thinks he's going to get a Protection From Abuse order for a phone in the car?

HelpMe123 posted 4/21/2013 12:39 PM

yup and a text message saying "ur a lying dirtbag"

Dark Inertia posted 4/21/2013 13:11 PM

How in the world did he find the phone? Wasn't it placed underneath the car seat?

HelpMe123 posted 4/21/2013 13:17 PM

yep it was...I have no idea...maybe it made a noise or something for a game my kid plays, maybe it flashed if someone called...but yep he found it.

Housefulloflove posted 4/21/2013 17:09 PM

I'm sorry you're going through this!

I would say that you now know the truth so mission accomplished. You can't change the fact that he is a lying piece of crap but you can now change your focus totally off of him and your relationship and focus on your kids and taking care of yourself while you mentally deal with all that he has just put your through.

((((Helpme123))) he is showing you who he is right now and now you have to show him that what he is choosing to be isn't good enough for you and your children. I know that is *MUCH* easier said than done.

Chicky posted 4/21/2013 19:53 PM

I wonder if maybe it slid pout from under the seat when he hit brakes or something. I saw your post about putting it in the car and that was my first thought. Of course hindsight is 20/20 but should you try it again (and I say that because I would, but that's just me) I would put it in the trunk like in the wheel well of a spare tire or in the pocket behind the seat.

I would love to have been a fly on the wall when he walked into the police station with a phone...A PHONE! That's some serious threat right there!

stronger08 posted 4/21/2013 20:02 PM

Who's name is the car in ? I really don't think you have anything to worry about. What a pussy he is. I hate it when a WS tries to use the law to facilitate their A. My XWW pulled that shit and it blew up in her face.
She was exposed publicly for the POS whore she was. Don't sweat this one. Give him enough rope and he will hang himself.

HelpMe123 posted 4/21/2013 20:18 PM

He really is not the type of person to get police involved in anything...he's very guess is it was the OW pressuring him. She believes we were seperated she has told him I am stalking him because I text him and call him. Now mind you this has been day 11 since Dday! I'm not stalking him. he's cheating on me! I am at a loss for words at this did my entire world collapse in less then 2 weeks

putonahappyface posted 4/23/2013 18:59 PM

(((helpme))). I'm sorry he is such a jerk. It really is amazing how one's entire life can change practically overnight. Peace & strength to you & your kids!

AussieMum posted 4/23/2013 19:25 PM

I'd say he's grasping at straws. The police will just send him on his merry way, they don't want to get involved in stuff like this.

My WH told me he'd take legal action for accessing his 'private' emails and that by forwarding one to my own email address, I was in fact a 'criminal' His OW at the time threatened me with a restraining order after realising I would contact her BH. I said 'go right ahead'

They really are desperate, pathetic creatures that don't like the cold harsh light of day illuminating their grubby affairs.

Stay strong!

There is nothing to worry about here. He might as well have taken a child's toy he found in the car to the police. I'm certain they laughed at him.

I agree with stronger08. Based on his actions he appears to be a total puss. He's desperate to use anything as justification or to legitimize his being a shitbag. He doesn't want to - and probably never will - own up to doing something to you that he would never want anyone to do to him. People of this nature are fucking cowards.

Lying is their self-defense mechanism and they will resort to it instantly when they are exposed. It's easy, quick, and the path of least resistance.

I so wish I had thought of putting an old phone in his vehicle before I left for a week. Mine probably would have found it too though. I would have put the phone on silent so it would not make noise and turn vibrate off
