Sorry, this is sooooo petty but it's been bugging me all day...so I'm going to get it out here and let it go.

The last time Teslet was at his dad's was a month ago. His lunch bag ended up over there and didn't come home. No text about it...didn't drop it off...send it over via post office...because, you know, I've got tons of extra lunch bags just hanging around.

Last night I get the lunch bag back. I unpack it...someone (probably stripper whore) bought cute little rubbermaid lunch containers...they were all packed neatly inside the bag. Moved to the bottom compartment were the two tupperware containers that I had packed with food in it for his school lunch...over a month ago. One of them still with food in it...both obviously dirty.

It's so stupid...but it's been bugging me all freaking day long...how do you not wash those two containers but neatly pack in all cutsy new ones????

Deep breath...let it go...it's so irrelevant...

Sorry, those things are fun. That is disgusting Tesla, but I agree. Not worth it and they wouldn't get it anyway. It makes me wonder what level of nastiness they subject Teslet to when he is there if that is acceptable to them.

They've been sitting in there for a MONTH??

Devils advocate, but maybe she didn't see them until they were already moldy or gross, didn't want to assume by throwing them out, but felt bad so the new ones are to replace them? Maybe...?

sigh...

maybe, Ama.

So here's what I'm going to do. Pack his lunch Friday (extra messy) in those cutsy containers. I'll see if those come back to me clean. (They've never taken the tinme to clean them...but I know they see the lunch bag because they'll pack stuff in his bookbag.)

I just don't get it.

She seriously might be the kind of person who throws that stuff away-- "Here's some new ones because who would actually CLEAN those little containers?" I have known people like that; you wouldn't believe what sorts of things they chuck without an extra thought (or at least rinse out and stick in recycling).

I think she's just a dope. Don't be surprised if you get yet ANOTHER set of new, clean containers; you know, so you can throw those old, dirty ones out?

ok...I know my kids are bit older but I can't resist sharing I had the same petty thoughts. My kids came back from Douchebag's on Sunday after being there all weekend. I asked them to take their lunch boxes out and place em on the counter. When I saw the dirty containers and left over food, I made them come over and clean them. They are 7 and 9. I gently suggested that if they couldn't or their dad couldn't clean out their lunch boxes then neither will I. They were soooo busy. Bite me. Clean the shit and be a normal parent. I got nothing for you because if you say something to that idiot of yours, it will go right through him. He doesn't care and if he knows you do, he'll be more likely to do it again and again.

I love the idea of rigging it so he gets stuck with the dirty shit somehow. Not sure how you can pull that off..but

go. for. it!
