I had nightmares all night last night. The OW is pregnant with twins. She refuses to have a paternity test until they are born so we are in limbo as is her BS. We have at least a month and a half to two and a half months before the due date. My nightmare last night was that they looked just like my husband and I then had to figure out if I could still be with him. I am 5 months along myself so this isn't a time I want to be making these kinds if decisions. I also shouldn't be under all of this stress. I woke up and realized it was a dream but it just made my nightmare of a life more real.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I used to have nightmares every night about my husband. Some were so violent I would wake up with heavy breathing. It was like I never had a break. I dealt with his garbage during the day, then had nightmares about it, there was no escape.
I can tell you that they do go away, though.

Oh no . . twins.
So sorry for you.
I've had nightmares as well.
No escape from the damage he's done.
Be good to yourself.

Please talk to your OB/GYN about the stress you are under. You don't have to specify, just say that things are way out of control right now and it's effecting your sleep.
The last thing they want is for you to have a small baby d/t emotional stress.
Try to let go of it for now, there is nothing you can do it's in her hands. I would make sure that you have tt a lawyer about childsupport though.

Our MC just talked about this last night - apparently we also deal with these issues in our dreams, like addressing fears and anger in them. So it's just another way to work through it, I guess. She made it sound natural and most often a good thing, especially if you talk about the dreams and acknowledge the feelings they bring .
Still I don't like the lack of sleep though.

Thank you for the replies. I am still not convinced that she will actually go through with testing. If they aren't her husbands he will probably divorce her and she can't risk that ($$$). We have been in contact with a lawyer and the ball is in her court until we are served with papers for paternity.
The lack of sleep is terrible. I have two little ones at home so I have to be 'on' all the time. Sleep was my one sanctuary and now that seems to be gone.
I go for an ultrasound today. So far everything as been great and the baby is measuring right on track. My bp is even low. It is hard to believe that my health hasn't taken a toll through all of this.
