We were in a clothing store this weekend and waiting in line. The kids were bored standing line and acting up a bit. So we stood off to the side while husband waited in line. When it was his turn, we all "regrouped" and the sales associate told us that the person in front us had a store credit and to give to the person behind her.
We are all surprised, including the sales associate. So we were able to save a little more money because of the kind lady in front of us.
I remember the amount and as soon as I'm back to work, I'm going to do the same thing and pass on her generous act of kindness to someone else.

SD...that's so nice, what a great surprise for you all
Every Sunday we went into the city to have dinner with my Aunt and part of our tradition was my dad driving us over the Golden Gate Bridge and every Sunday my dad would pay the bridge toll for the car behind us
I will always remember every Sunday a new car would catch up to us on the bridge...honk their horn and wave to my dad...just to say thank you

It was a nice surprise, and greatly appreciated.
What a great story, DS. I love that. I wish there were more people around like that.

I love these kinds of stories.
Years ago when we were poor as church mice, we had gone out to eat for our anniversary, and some older man near our table had a bottle of wine sent to our table. And then, when we went to leave, we found out he had paid for out meal.

That's awesome. I want to do a random act of kindness today.
A nice lady in Target told me that my daughter was adorable and complimented my shirt. Made my day.

Random Act of Kindness for sure!! What a wonderful thing to occur <big smiles!!>
On busy mornings, I will pay for the person's coffee behind me at Starbucks. Since I go to the same one a couple times a week, sometimes I get an update from the Barista. Once, the Barista's were able to get 21 cars in a row to pay for the person's coffee behind them.

Jana, that's great! I love it when that happens. Even better is when I see my children's face light up from the compliment
LB, 21 cars! That's amazing.
