STB-SIL sent out an email encouraging us to find our own shoes, in the cream, navy or blush family. (Dress is cream and navy stripes, pic below, yes it needs alterations.) She specifically said she wants to "keep it classy" yet the first pair of shoes she sent as an example were Tom's
I'm 4 to 8 inches taller than the bride and other bridesmaids, and will be walking with the shortest groomsman. I can't walk in heels to save my life, and the wedding is outdoors on a farm. I will be wearing flats.
I'm looking at these, or something similar:

Do you think they'd look okay with the dress?

They're cute as heck, but I don't think you'll ever wear them again once they've hit farmland.
I'd go with something that can be cleaned.

Well, I can get similar for $20, so ... I'd be okay with that.
ETA: The shoes she picked out where all in the $90-150 range, minus the Tom's (which are crochet like these, which is what put the idea in my head), and I'm not willing to spend that on a pair of shoes that's just going to get trashed.
If I could find some decent leather flats between beige and nude, which I could wear later with slacks or skirts for work (think law firm professional), I'd be willing to fork over the money for them, and get them cleaned afterward.

As long as the creams match they would be fine!
You could probably find some cute navy leather flats too!

I wouldn’t worry about formality, it pretty much just sounds like she doesn’t want you in flip flops. All the shoes you are looking at should work, but I would suggest you avoid ordering on line. It’s hard to get a color match from a photo, and cheap flats can hurt. It shouldn’t be too hard to find something that will work for your feet and budget if you keep your style options open.

I would go with either a navy or a cream colored crochet pair.

Cres, yeah, there's 100% chance of a trip to both of the DSWs near me in the next few weeks.
Right now I have been looking online because I can do that between tasks at work or while procrastinating studying.... No time to actually go shopping though.

I would go for something more like this. I think they will complete the dress better and you'll definitely be able to wear them to work afterwards.
