I work for doctors...not like your run of the mill doctors, like the kind that make more in a year then i will ever make in a life time, kind of doctors....Love them, they are so cool...

but how...>HOW do you misplace a check for over 16,000 and be so like "oh, i guess i will look for that sometime this week....

Thats HALF my yearly salary...IN ONE CHECK!...

I picked the WRONG field of work LOL...

(though, these people are saving lives everyday with their research and all the education that it took to get here. They deserve what they get fo sure)

If they can afford to lose that much money, they can afford to pay you a lot more!

SHE is in cancer research - and I found out that the check is actually for the research clinic as part of a clinical trial rather then her own pocket....but seriously how do you just NOT deposit something like...that day...that you get it....

I am still shaking my head....

I work in Private Wealth Management, which basically means our target client is worth at least $10 million.

It was very shocking when I started here - seeing people buying $80,000 cars IN CASH, or multimillion dollar homes IN CASH.

It didn't take long for me to get desensitized to it, and start calling transactions under like $100,000 "small". I will never in my life ever have that kind of money, but after being around people that do for many years, I don't even bat an eyelash when talking about this...

FWIW, my yearly salary is probably what some of these clients earn in interest on their accounts in ONE MONTH.

What I want to know is what kind of work these seriously wealthy people do! Really, I want to know.
