I just wanted to tell you all that all your tag lines are so inspiring, encouraging and influential. I love them!

confused82402 posted 4/25/2013 11:02 AM

I agree! I love everyone's tag lines too

Knowing posted 4/25/2013 11:56 AM

Except mine.

I'm glad you brought this up. I changed mine a week or so ago and nobody has said a thing. It was an absolutely absurd thought I had, probably the most absurd thought I've had in relation to infidelity and R, and, well, I couldn't help myself... It makes me laugh every time I see it.

If you want to see my original tag line and stats they are in my profile. And for the record my fWH's infidelity had nothing to do with blowjobs or prostitutes.

Me, too! I love reading tag lines

Changed mine to one less triggery recently. Silly, but. . .

My wife hardly ever posts here, but I love her tagline... so fitting for a FWS. It's from Mumford and Sons:

"You told me that I would find a hole within the fragile substance of my soul and I have filled this void with things unreal, and all the while my character it steals."

Tag! You're it.

Oh Knowing...I think your tagline is VERY clever...and SO accurate!! I smile everytime I read it!!!

Diva0702 posted 4/25/2013 17:12 PM

Lucky, I love yours! (ooops! just spilt a little of my glass of red)!

Mine always makes me feel so much better when I read the last bit and it makes me giggle to myself!!!

scared&stronger posted 4/25/2013 17:14 PM

I guess I should change mine again. My panties hurt.

Knowing posted 4/25/2013 17:47 PM

Awww, bless you NoraLee! Thank you

Who doesn't like "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"?

Hearthache again posted 4/26/2013 00:38 AM

Love reading tag lines too. Knowing yours is awesome. Love it! I keep mine because I have clung to that saying to help me down from many anxiety attacks.

MrsDoubtfire posted 4/26/2013 05:09 AM

Knowing.... Your tag line is hilarious!! And so true!

StillGoing posted 4/26/2013 07:00 AM

Speaking as an atheist I consider the tagline to not just be inaccurate but misleading because it misunderstands the premise, but I don't want to violate site guidelines by going into that conversation as much as I'd like to discuss it. Additionally it isn't the tracking app that's making your H "behave" and even if it were there's a very strong common sentiment against being a warden to your own spouse.

JustAShadow posted 4/26/2013 07:37 AM

I'm not in R but had to jump in and say that I love reading everyone's taglines too.

Knowing - yours makes me giggle every time (and I'm an atheist).

StillGoing - I'm glad you responded because I hadn't seen yours before. Love it!

Maybe one day I'll be creative enough for a tagline

idiot85 posted 4/26/2013 08:48 AM

I love taglines- I love them in general to be honest... In the UK they're known more as straplines and in Germany 'claims' which I always think is weird ha

I was reading a book on DDay night (trying to clear the fog I think) and part of it included "if you're going to go through hell, keep going" and it touched a nerve- it can be interpreted 2 ways- I realised this when my wife saw it and freaked out!!

I choose to think of it in a positive light...Unusual for something with the word 'hell' in. Anyway!

Edited to say- it's from Winston Churchill.

I enjoy reading them too. I found mine shortly after dday#3. It said exactly how I felt...all that hope..all the trust he had built up..and all those butterflies that I felt from the first time his eyes met mine..all dead.

But I have performed a miracle...a few have come back to life and are fluttering about..

StillGoing posted 4/26/2013 10:13 AM

Sorry, I didn't mean to be a tightass, I can see the humor of the statement.

Also, I Cobra Commander declare the word "straplines" to be the new thing. Because the word straplines is awesome.
