Well today my H got his 401k statement in the mail. There was a few things that looked off. It had a new column for withdraw. Well having been through 2 ddays I automatically jumped to the worse case scenario. Well come to find out since the new company took over they listed our loan as a withdraw. I compared his pay statements and yes it was there.
I got upset. I was in control but firm when I questioned him. He remained calm and went to the phone and web to figure it out. He proved to me he did nothing wrong. In the past he hid money issues from me(he loaned money with out telling me to his family). While I didn't think it was family this time I automatically went where most of us in this situation would go.
Afterwards, I apologized for jumping to the worse case scenario. He said no need to say sorry, I made you think that way because I screwed up!
After dday 1 he would get mad at every little doubt I had. Well not now. It is 3 years out and he understands and thanks me for questioning him. He says it helps him to be honest and also makes me feel secure.
Today proved to me he has changed for the better.
