Well, not everything. I managed to save my very important word docs. But everything else gone, my contacts, my apps, my favorites that I've saved. All gone. Now I have to try and set it all back up. The good thing is that my phone is deleting my IE history again. I just don't remember what my favorites are...

Major PITA!

Yikes... What kind of phone do you have?

I have a Blackberry and I back it up to my computer on a monthly basis. That works for me... I had one freeze up and die and so I had to use my back ups... thank god I had them.

I have a Windows Phone 7. I'm not sure how to back it up. I think it goes through their Zune site. I've only used it about 3 to 4 times to transfer pictures of my phone. I could only email myself my word docs which took forever.

Now, I don't know how to get an Xbox game I had on my phone back for my kids. I don't want to have to buy it again, but I think I might have to. Ugh...

You should just be able to log in to your account and redownload it. You can set up zune to sync all your stuff. There is a list and you pick what you want to keep backed up, but you have to periodically plug it into the computer.

The only thing I found on Zune was for pics, videos, and podcasts. Nothing saying to sync Xbox games. Plus I don't save anything to Zune. I use it to take pics off, transfer to my computer, then delete from Zune.

So I may not be able to get it back. My faults...
