Tesla Shares Soar Following Strong Q1 Earnings

This morning, Tesla Motors (TSLA) reported better-than-expected first quarter earnings of $15 million, or 12 cents per share, as revenue climbed to $561.8 million. The company topped Wall Street estimates on both the top and bottom line in the first quarter, as well as surpassing its own guidance for vehicles delivered. In the report, Telsa increased its full-year vehicle delivery guidance to 21,000 cars for 2013. Shares of Tesla were soaring on Thursday morning, higher by more than 24%.

This is just a shameless plug ...

Bebba1171 posted 5/9/2013 09:55 AM

Not really. Just a shameless play on words with Tesla on this forum who I adore!

I'm really getting a charge out of this.

Someone needs to take charge of this situation.

(dammnit I didn't read Hope's previous post)

But I will look at the positive side instead of the negative.

Watt made you think you had to post this?

Clarrissa posted 5/9/2013 16:55 PM

gahurts, Saturn makes the Ion, not Tesla. Just sayin'...

A Tesla is my dream car. (not why I have the screen name, though) Someday...when I win the lottery...

gahurts posted 5/9/2013 20:04 PM

Clarissa - wasn't the Saturn discontinued?

Here is your namesake Tesla:

Yes, gahurts, I picked the name because I was always playing nikola tesla to a certain someone's playing of thomas edison. Of course, I haven't quite gone off my rocker...yet

99 out of 100...only question is dependability over time (hey, I'm just reading the report!).

Some of you are quite punny!

Bebba1171 posted 5/9/2013 21:50 PM

I have seen the Tesla car in person and the one and only real Tesla in person and they are both sleek and sexy!

I think I have a better chance of owning a Tesla than dating the real Tesla - and I am a very poor man!

For some reason, she doesn't like men almost 20 years older, that are balding and fat - even though they recently ran faster than her in a 5K!

She needs a heavy dose of counseling by a very wise man - me!

GA - I am in Atlanta next week. Our office is on the Northeast side. Will be making some sales calls Wednesday and Thursday.

Maybe we can get together for a while Tues night or Wednesday night.

Can't remember where you live. PM Me!

I almost got run over by a Tesla while I was riding my motorcycle today. It was a really nice looking car though.
