My daughter. My lovely, sweet, six year old baby girl. The apple of my eye told me this morning that she's working on her Christmas list already.

This is what she wants.

Are you ready?

1. A ruby ring

2. An emerald bracelet

3. A diamond necklace

My husband asked her who is getting this for her and she said "Santa!"

Thank goodness for my son who said "Santa doesn't make jewelry, only toys."

She's going to be expensive

Hey - unless she becomes a licensed gemologist in the near future, crystals and zircons come in the same colors and are sooooo sparkly and pretty!!

This is true, but knowing my luck she'll pull out a diamond tester that she has hidden under her bed

Seriously!

She is one smart cookie. We were watching an old cartoon where a female character entered a beauty contest and her husband was a "mystery judge." He was drooling over the women and my daughter said "I would never let anyone treat me like that."

That's MY girl!
