I am cleaning my room and got sidetracked when I found my box of glitter coated SI Christmas cards. These cards are like therapy today.

Gahurts cool lights, chico and broevil's intense glitter flecks that are all over the floor now, Sad in AZ's beautiful bird that made me cry when I opened it because it reminded me if my grandmother, DragnHeart's moose, JPapa's shiny pennies, Tred and SandAway's sledding couple walking hand in hand. 60+ signatures, many little handwritten notes, from all corners of the US and Canada. A whole stack of love, kindness, friendship, and care.

I loved finding these cards today.

We should totally do a Happy Summer card exchange to hold us over till Christmas.

Now I need to break out the vacuum.

Mr. Aubrie was appalled at how much glitter I bought. He said, "Are you sure we're not going to make enemies this way...?"

Nahhhh. No enemies on SI. We glitter bomb those we like/love.

Oh, we do love DS and MH, but we didn't glitter bomb them because well...I didn't wanna get banned. Figured since everyone else signed up for the card exchange, they were kinda asking for a bombing.

Moo, I am slightly askeered for next year.

Everytime the baby comes around the corner table there is glitter stuck to her somewhere. I swear I have vacuumed that corner once a week since the glitter bombs arrived. The little stinker keeps finding traces of glitter.

Can you post a picture of what a card looks like?

I *tried* to save as much of the glitter as I could (except that wicked super-fine stuff that is still floating EVERYWHERE around the house - it's eerie)...and put it all in a big ziplock baggie.then I put a bow on it and pinned the bag to the bulletin board in my kitchen...next to the calendar I look at every day.

You're right, Kajem....so much love.

Almost halfway through the year, and I still feel it every day, sustaining me.
