dlmos - seeing that this title was in F&G rather than NB calmed my nerves enough to open it.

Yes - Guinness. Good stuff.

Oh my; you went hard-core quickly

If you want something interesting, ask for a Bruised Pear--half Guinness/half pear cider.

Enjoy!

Dlmos, if you're ever in Tucson, you have to hit me up. If you like Guiness, there are several local breweries (probably where you live too) that make stouts and porters that will knock your socks off. :)

I love Guinness. It's kind of funny when your B/F is 6'5" and his friend is 6' and I'm 5'4"standing in the middle while they get Heineken and I ask for a Guinness. Oh the "are you serious" look never gets old.

Irish car bombs are what did it for me. Delicious in my drunken college days. 3/4 pint of Guinness, a shot glass full 1/2 of Bailey's and 1/2 of Jameson. Drop the shot glass in the pint and chug. You must chug or it will curdle...oh the hangover memories are not as pleasant lol.

Guinness is ERH-MAY-ZING. It's my fave too.

PS - When I saw the title I had the same NIK-panic for 2 seconds and then remembered the forum and relaxed.

THEN I made a bet in my head as to what it was. I bet "new motorcycle". I lost...

Guinness is high on my list. I rarely drink lagers or light beers anymore.

Bruised Pear--half Guinness/half pear cider

This sounds really good. I am going to have to try one. Irish car bomb sounds interesting too.

When I saw the title I thought motorcycle, too. As I clicked on the thread I said to myself - "This is gonna be good!"

So many good looking Guinness combinations here...I'll have one of each
