When spending money I'm usually more on the practical side, except for cologne and perfume. I guess it could be my guilty pleasure.

On a man I LOVE Bulgari Pour Homme & Pour Homme Soir. Bulgaria Blu is nice as well. Probably a little too much

I like the smell of soap. Seriously.

Many colognes and perfumes (especially heavy or floral scents) trigger migraines.

I like vanilla or coconut (like suntan oil?) but not strong.

Really, soap works.

^^^ Ditto Caregiver9000.

No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

I've never had a migraine from cologne and I've never had it affect my asthma. One spritz is usually enough, though.

ETA- Does Chanel make a men's cologne? I love Coco and #5 for women.

A friend of mine likes Lacrosse, Claiborne Sport, and her favorite of all time is Tommy Hilfiger. I'm not personally familiar with them, though.

I agree with Caregiver9000. To me there is nothing better than a freshly cleansed man. Plus colognes and perfumes make me wheeze.

Chanel =

Bleu De Chanel

Ah-Mazing

You go more expensive, you use less - my DH makes a bottle of cologne last FOREVER! I honestly believe they make the perfume for women less potent.

Anyhow, I personally love Bleu De Chanel on my DH - I do think its personal preference and YOU have to smell yourself so, pick something you like and I am sure it will be a hit!

^^^This!

Also, anyone you wear it for will also let you know what they like and don't like or if it bothers them (headaches, asthma, allergies etc...) I wouldn't worry about that until that day arrives.

One spritz goes a long way.
