We past the 1 year after d day on April 15th. Although things are not always perfect and BS still hurts a lot, I have to say we are doing really well. They month before the 1 year was really rough but right now we both seem on the right path and we are speaking to each other with respect. We're still in MC and I'm in IC and it seems to be helping a lot. We've made (bs made) a list of things we need to do to keep the marriage safe and following that has been a good thing. We both tell each other what we need which was never our strong suit. Knowing what your partner needs means you don't have to guess and having them know what your needs are means you get what you need.

I hadn't posted in a while because things having been going well but I felt like posting something good was as important right now because it reminds me of how far we've come.

Hi Sicktomy, BS here. That is very good to read. Thanks for sharing!

Not talking to each other about what we needed was how our trouble started.

Hope things continue to go well for you.
