They really need to use better envelops because I was able to read the letter thru the envelop. I have not done the whole “return to sender” thing for crap that is sent to X at my house in many many years, but I did this one. And I made sure that my address was completely wiped out so it will not become boomerang mail.

Anyway, it said that he needed to bring payment of $xx amount of CS arrears next week. The amount is HUGE because he has paid nothing in 4+ years. It is also more than my records indicate, which surprised me. But it is not too far off base. *IF* my X had any intention of paying CS then I would make sure the state had the correct amount. Since he does not then it does not matter. The letter threatened him with contempt of court, suspension of license, and possible arrest if he does not pay. HA! Good luck with that since he fled the country!

I almost just tossed the letter, but then realized that the state needs to be notified NOT to send his shit to my address when trying to collect CS. I mean, how messed up is that? If he was actually here then I would not need CS! But it is the last known address that that have, albeit 8 years old.

Maybe this will get him on the state’s “most wanted” list of deadbeat parents. And yes, my state does have a website with the top several “evaders”. If he gets listed I will be sure to send him a link to tell him he is finally famous.

But you know, the whole things is just a reminder of how much he screwed me over and how much he has failed DD. I don't need the state sending me such reminders because that is kinda "in your face" type of reminder. I don't need that.

After so many years you would think they would have a more recent address.

CS enforcement showed up at my 1st XH's house the day his widow and I went to social security office to get benefits for DD. He died 2 mo before. Yep, just a little late.

I would also let them know he hasn't lived at your address for so many years .
I do hope they take his license and whatever they can do.

It's my life now, my choices, my mistakes to make and my victories to celebrate. His choices made me free of liars and betrayers in my life. That is priceless.

I find this amusing for some reason. Make sure you wait with bated breath for that suspension of his license to come through.

Well, the license does not matter because 1) he would drive with a suspended license and 2) he doesn't even live in the US anyway.

The letter did not mention his passport, at least the part that I could read thru the envelop anyway. But the couple of times that I talked to a rep at CSE they did mention it because I told them that he might leave the country. They cannot suspend his passport, but they can flag it so that he cannot renew it. And so I wait with baited breathe until 2017...

Thanks for the support y'all

Not sure if you are in Canada or not, but my friend here in BC, just recently received her 30K of CS arrears. Family Enforcement flagged her ex's passport as well, but he couldn't use it. It wasn't that he couldn't "renew" it. Fortunately that did the trick!!! He finally paid up to get it back. Good luck!
