Hi All

Need some advice please.Genius emailed me from work last Friday and asked me to sign some paperwork regarding the sale of the house. He received my out office because I was in meetings all day. Then texts me to find out where I am. I said "in meetings". He said ok, told me he sent me some documents to sign and could I please sign them and email them back to him. He's so sweet it's giving me cavity. I couldn't get out of the meetings until after 5 and I wasn't about to sign something before I read it so I got to it after 5 read it, made a copy and emailed it back to him at around 5:30.
He texts me today and asks me if I signed the paperwork. I said I did it Friday. He then asks if I could "please" email it to his personal email as he is no longer at that job. WTF! So now his former employer has all the details of how much we sold our house for all because he couldn't tell me he was quitting that day. All he had to do was let me know that I should send it to his personal email. Should my out of office not have tipped him off to the fact that I wouldn't be doing it right away?
I'm really pissed about this because I don't need strangers having access to that type of information.
Should I call him on this dumbass move or just let it go?

Just let it go. In the long run, you'll be happier. Can you deal directly with the real estate agent going forward? That's what we did while selling the house, for the most part, and it made things much easier!

Is breaking NC worth it?
Truly, the answer is "almost NEVER worth it." And this case is no exception. There's nothing he can do to fix it now, so stay NC.

I second 'letting it go'.

Who cares if someone knows how much you sold your house for? That's all public record anyway, anybody could find out if they wanted to.

Breaking NC is rarely worth it. Just don't do it. You will save yourself a lot of pain by sticking to NC.

I took everyone's advice and haven't said boo. I'll just add it to the list of things I've stayed quiet about but I now know that it's for the best. I was really pissed this time and almost gave in because the paperwork also contained banking info but hey, what's done is done.
I really believe that he's done some of this shit just to get a rise out of me and I have yet to give him the satisfaction. Even when he took the last 2 rolls of toilet paper from the house :)

Unfortunately yes :) I left the house one day because he was showing it to a potential buyer and did not want to see him. I remember thinking that I have to check on the tp situation because I was pretty sure I was low. 2 rolls left when I left the house. I get home a few hours later and POOOF , tp pulls a magical disappearing act. Pathetic! I even debated buying a case and leaving it on the counter for him next time he dropped by :)
