I'm finally feeling better after the weirdest illness.

Monday I was fine until about 8pm, when I got so fatigued I could barely keep my eyes open. I had a little bit of work to do before I went to bed, so I did it. By the time I did go to bed, I had really bad chills. I could not warm up, no matter what. SO said that I didn't feel cold, but inside I was frozen. Then, the nausea started.

I finally fell asleep and when I woke up, I felt a little better, so I decided to go to work. BIG mistake. I wore a pair of dress pants and a knit sweater, but was still frozen, so I taught all day with my scarf and a huge knit cardigan on. The kids looked at me like I was crazy. They kept asking me to open a window, cause they were warm, but I just couldn't do it. The aches and pains were incredibly bad. The 5 minute walk home was torture.

I got home, crawled into bed and froze. Again, I couldn't warm up and I was achy all over, especially my lower back. I got a really bad headache, to the point where light bothered me. Then I fell asleep.

I didn't go to work this morning, but I do feel much better. All that's left now is a dull ache in my head, but nothing too major.

I know it was probably a quick flu-like virus, but I've never had the flu without congestion or coughing. I didn't have any of that this time.

Either way, I'm very glad it's over with.
