FWH and I go to bed really early on weeknights as FWH gets up by 4:30 am daily. We don't necessarily go to sleep right away, we watch tv, read, talk, what not.

We were excited because it was the finale of Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night. We can't believe we like this show, but we do. We started watching it together after d-day as we decided we needed to do things together instead of watching our own tv programs. ( FWH would watch sports/hunting on one tv, I'ld watch programs I like on a different tv before, now we watch tv together.)

Anyway, we started watching the program and they, of course, was dragging out the announcement of the winner. So, we started to do some "whatnot". It was great. So great in fact that I yelled out "Awesome!" right at that moment. I almost stopped MisterSister in his tracks, but he regained his composure.

I am so embarrassed. Who yells out "awesome"? First of all, I usually don't yell. If I say anything it is more along the lines of "yeah, baby" or "yes", and I don't yell, although FWH says I am louder than I think. MisterSister has been teasing me gently about this, and I am really embarrassed. Awesome? I don't even know where that came from, I don't even remember thinking it, I just yelled it out!

No sooner do we finish our "whatnot", there is a commercial for Mistresses showing the "mistress" rolling over in bed from her MM and saying "That was amazing!" Talk about a cold bucket of water being thrown on you! I instantly triggered. Did OW say that to FWH after a tryst? Did OW yell out anything?

Anyhoo, just wanted to share my embarrassment with my virtual friends as this isn't something my IRL friends would want to hear about (my very BF in the whole wide world who I would share this with died 2 months before d-day) and ask have you ever yelled out anything embarrassing whilst in the throes of lovemaking? It might make me feel not quite so embarrassed if you did.

(((Sms)))

You are doing a really good job with healing and trying to look at the positive things...you should be really proud of yourself, I know I am

Thanks, DS. I was really excited when I saw you posted on my thread as I couldn't wait to see what embarrassing thing you yelled out.

When I see DS post, I usually run right in to see who did what that merited a DS slap!

Glad this wasn't one of them.

My FWH and I saw that same episode of DWTS (both FWH and I love that show) and saw the ads for Mistresses. I triggered both times. FWH just shook his head and muttered, "Disgusting." (At the ad for the show, not me!).

I wish we had been doing "whatnot", though! We might not have noticed those awful ads. But SisterMilkshake, what an especially unfortunate moment for that ad to come up!

SisterMilkshake posted 5/23/2013 10:15 AM

t/j I thought I would have been happy if either Aly, Kellie or Zendaya won, or so I thought. But, when Kellie won I was really disappointed that Zendaya didn't win. FWH felt the same way I did. How about you, SadFlower? end t/j

I didn't watch this season of DWTS so I didn't see the finale Tuesday. But we've seen those ads during other ABC shows. He doesn't say a word and I change the channel as fast as possible.

And on that other topic, to make you feel better, I'm a screamer. I mean, the dogs bark sometimes. I usually can't form words enough to say "Awesome" at that moment though.

I had something similar happen to us while watching 30 Rock. What helped me immensely is that I immediately start to focus on the present and how well things are going when I trigger. Also, my WW notices when these things happens, comes over and we just hold each other during these times. It's a small gesture, but it really means a lot to me.

/tj continued/ SMS, I was kind of rooting for Zendaya, too--she's an amazing dancer, and such a cutie! But Kellie is a superb dancer, so I can't say I'm hugely disappointed./end tj/

Same here! I have to be careful when it's summer and the windows are open.

I was so disgusted when I saw the ad for Mistresses! Oh great - let's watch these hotties prance around a bedroom in their Vic Secret stuff and then watch them feel sorry for themselves when H goes back to his wife.

My H has not seen this year but when he does I suspect an audible expression of disgust as well.

Its gonna be okay, Sister. Your H is lovin' you and all your awesomeness!

mrcpu posted 5/23/2013 12:48 PM

I said "Oh Ha La" once really loudly... not sure WTF that meant.

I'm going try yelling AWESOME next time!

SisterMilkshake posted 5/23/2013 13:02 PM

"Oh Ha La"
Hilarious! Literally laughed until I had tears. Thank you so much, mrcpu. Laughing with you, not at you.

Now I am afraid my sex addled brain will have me yell out "Oh Ha La" next time.

Thanks for sharing this, too, TXBW and SadFlower. Are you embarrassed that you scream? Do you have any control over it? I feel that I had no control over the "awesome", I surprised myself that I yelled that.

Bikingguy posted 5/23/2013 14:03 PM

First, sorry your special moment was somewhat ruine.

Second, you all need to get a DVR. Who watches commercials anymore?
(need to make this short meeting in 2 minutes)
We record everything. Playback for shows like DWtS and Idol are much faster skipping all the crap (OK I think most of it is crap, but my daughter and WW like them). Then we have more time for "what not"

I do worry about summer approaching as we will leave the windows open at night. My neighbors might just high 5 me as WW can be really load

TXBW68 posted 5/23/2013 14:05 PM

I'm not embarrassed right now since this site is anonymous. IRL, I don't think I would tell my friends. But my husband loves it. He gets turned on even more.

Unfortunately, there are too many times when the kids are home that I have to hide my face in a pillow or bite my lip so much it hurts. That's my way of controlling it. The alternative is to hold back my climax - and that's no fun!

But when the kids aren't home... all bets are off!!

Angel177 posted 5/23/2013 14:06 PM

I'm a screamer. I can control it kind of...by covering my mouth or holding my breathe...otherwise I scream. Don't usually say much besides yes or oh yeah. I keep thinking I'm going to have to learn some control because dd is only 2 so I don't think she notices but as she gets older hearing her mother scream during sex is going to scar her for sure. Wh doesn't usually make much noise so when I can make him yell out I usually hold my head up a little higher
