I have a ATT 4G and my contract is up soon. I wanna go pre-paid but I was told that ATT do not support the sim-card.I like the phone and would like to keep it. What other options do I have here.

Verizon doesn't use Sim cards in their iPhones. ATT does.

You want to keep your existing iPhone? Most US plans have specific phones that go with them. Why not just let your contract expire and go month to month with the existing phone if the goal is to keep it?

Straight talk briefly offered a replacement sim card for those phones so you could use them on their service. They are no longer available (problem with AT&T about the offer???) but you can still find them on ebay allowing you to use straight talks $45 a month unlimited service. You'd have to web search to find more details about how this works I have no personal experience.

I forgot to say that you can use an old contract phone as the go phone.
