So I went off on my neighbors last week. It was not a good day, I was tired, and my neighbors were letting their dog constantly run into my yard. Long story short, I totally ripped them a new one over their dog. Today, I walked over and apologized. They have no clue about what is going on with POS and me. So I told them. I figured I had the option of making enemies out of them or apologize and keep them as allies. They are retired and home most if the time, so they can be a good set of eyes while I am not home. They were very understanding and supportive. The wife even joked that, "we need to get you a boyfriend!" Cute and appreciated, but no thanks. I just have to stop and think about what flies out of my mouth sometimes. They may not be my favorite people, but they didn't deserve my POS-induced anger. Unlike POS, I can own up to my actions and make it right, it's not difficult...

Good for you Phoenix1! You had the guts to "man up" to your mistake and you made it right. That's awesome and I commend you for that!
I don't think there is one of us on this site that hasn't taken our anger/pain/betrayal out on someone who doesn't deserve it. I sure know I have! I think we just get so much emotion built up in us that eventually just the smallest things make us explode and look out whoever is in the way!
You've already got up and dusted yourself off.....now keep going! Proud of you for apologizing

I have BTDT and something that i have had to apologise to friends for. I have worked on this as i was known as the most passive of the group. This shit changed me for a while and i was lucky that they stuck by me!
