My WH and I had plans to get new parts for our BBQ at Lowes today. We live in the same small town with no other options unless driving to a city 30 miles away as the OW. We pull in and guess whose car is there? So we pull out and go home. I hate hiding. I hate running. But I guess in order to never see my ex BFF/ow I will have to do that for the rest of my life. I didn't do anything wrong but it feels like I get the punishment alot.

That's a horrible feeling. You can't control it or change it, though - you shouldn't have to face her after she caused you so much pain. That's keeping a boundary that keeps you emotionally safe. Was your H supportive?

He really was. He pulled right out and we drove to a different store to try to find parts. He says he hates he was a part of anything that makes me hide-especially from someone who used to be my best friend.

I am so sorry you are going through this. It sucks how much their actions affect from day to day things to major events!
The good news is it sounds like he handled it very well so that is a good sign!
