you heard Saturday Night's Alright For Fighting by Elton John?
I was in the basement of the 4-H leader. They had a juke box with actual 45's. I would play that song every chance I could. I think the year would have been maybe 1980 or so.
Ah, good times...

None of you were even a twinkle in your parents' eyes.
The song is from 1973.

Thank you Sad.
I was in 6th grade and just getting into Elton John. I knew it wasn't in 1980 because that was the year I graduated high school.

Riding around in the front seat of our station wagon with no seat belt. Those vinyl seats were slippery, tasted the dashboard more than once.
Love that song.

Probably in the rec room watching my brothers and sisters play ping pong. They never let me play - I had to chase down the run-away balls.

I was in 3rd grade. I don't think I truly appreciated that song until high school. Love all of Elton John's music!
