The Bunt and I went away for Memorial Day weekend. Monday was his 7th birthday
We went up to a place in NW PA that my family is from, and all my aunts and dad now live there full time. My grandparents had retired there as well.
On the way home, going through PA, we stopped at Penn's Cave and did the boat tour. I've driven the route, through State College, my entire life, and never went. We loved it
It was a fabulous weekend, and just in time, as my baby Bunt is headed into the hospital on Monday for a two week stay.
Anyway, here's some pics of our adventure.
I hope everyone shares their summer vaca pics, and all the great places you all visit

Thanks. My family has five houses there - it's our little compound. I've been going there my whole life. I always remember that going to Grandma's had a whole different meaning for me than it did my friends. My grandparents sold pools in their retirement, so also had two ingrounds in their yard - one with a slide and one with a diving board. Add 11 cousins, and it was heaven for me as a kid. Still is at 40 years old

Went to hit like, then realized I am not on Facebook!
SSM - that place looks fantastic! I can smell the clean air just looking at the photos! And DS - that is one huge quacker!
Our big summer vacation was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and the fact that hubby and I both turn 40. Yikes! We headed to the tropics sans kids...
Beautiful beach...
Relaxing pool...
Scenic mountains...
And us!

DS,
I agree. Boston is a fantastic city. I loved walking around town and seeing the entire city from on top of the Pru. Definately want to go back soon.
