No, not the land under my house, but a waterfront lot. I've had a lifelong dream of owning land with a stream on it, but all the lots I found were like 10 acres with a stream in the back. I'm not tramping 10 acres to get to a stream with my deteriorating knees. So I found a cul-de-sac 1/4 acre lake lot, that also has a view of a large stream beyond that (my lot faces the lake's dam). It has a point into the lake, so there's a fair amount of waterfront. No plans to build, just put a shed for gardening stuff and a lawn glider (and a camp toilet for visits), once I get a variance from the Planning Board. It's actually easier to build than to just put a shed on top of the ground. But I'll have a spot to observe geese, beaver, deer, etc. in relative quiet, even though there are neighbors. That's MY new beginning!

Be careful what you wish for the most - you may get it.

Wow - that's awesome!
