I didn't see this already posted sorry if I duplicate ...

But damn OKC is getting hammered again. One of our members lives in the RED zone, although she rarely posts if ever anymore.

http://google.org/publicalerts/alert?aid=e383f6db20965223&source=fb

Please pray for her and her loved ones ... For all those in the path or already suffering the fall out ...

sigh ...

Ironic I guess the worst natural disaster I have ever been in were the snow storms in CO ... Shit we still went out in our sandals, shorts and sweatshirts and shoveled snow to go to work or wherever ... Although some days it took us HOURS to get where we were going we got there. The best time was when I was a bartender and the whole southern part of the state shut down for almost 2 weeks ... lucky me I was stranded at the bar, which turned into an emergency shelter for several motorists on the HWY and several living near by w/o power. We had a freaking druken blast ... That was in 1997 ...

Since I have moved to OK in Nov. 09 I have been through at least 2 earthquakes that I could clearly feel and now it appears I may go through my first tornado at some point this season. WTF ....

Anyway ... at chance to lighten the mood if even for a minute in light of all the tragedy here in the last 10 days or so ...

SO glad that she's okay! You're okay, right? I've been worried about all of our Oklahoma members. And now I'm worried about out members in the St. Louis area. They're about to get hit HARD!

Hopefully, everyone will check in when they get power back. In the meantime, I keep praying like crazy!!

Yes she is fine and so is another member in the OKC area ... The 2 that I know of anyway up that way ... There is another one but I have not heard from him in a bit ...

I'm good ... nothing here ...

We had wind, clouds and a short cloud burst of rain ... but other than that nothing ... Now it is just humid out no threatening weather here at all ...

Oh jeez ... St. Louis is huge !!!!! And many members in the area ... lot's of prayers

Oh man MO is taking a huge hit is sounds like ... I'm so saddened ...

Saint Louis media reports fans are trapped beneath debris at Busch Stadium in Saint Louis following a tornado. - Stephen

Ya know I never thought about tornadoes hitting major cities and wreaking destruction ... I have always thought of them as being in out lying areas ... farm land and small towns and such ... It is so sobering to see them RIP through major HUGE cities ...

My dad was in the big tornado that ripped through OKC in 1999(2003?) I think it was, passed 1 block away from his house ... Even that one seemed like some sort of freaky thing out of character for mother nature ...

Now ... holy shit ...

Members please check in if/when you can ...

Heard from a few of my personal friends and they are ok. Granted, they both lost their houses in the May 20th, so not much else to lose.

I'd say I'm glad I moved out of OKC after 16 years and 3 F5's, but we just had a twister about a mile south of us here in STL. Stupid weather.

aw shit, my SO has family in St Louis. SO's not there this weekend, though. I guess I should be glad for that. I'm worried for his family, though.

Watching the Weather Channel - one of their chase cars got caught by a tornado and tossed a couple of hundred yards. Everyone is ok, they were wearing seat belts and the airbags deployed. The SUV is trashed.

This reminds me of the movie "Night of the Twisters" from the mid 90's. That movie scared the crap out of me!

Luckily, the worst of it seems to have skirted south of my family just north of St. Louis. But now I worry about family and friends in the Rolla, MO area. Radar doesn't look good. I think it will be a restless night.

Edited because I can't type tonight.

We are good, we were in a movie theater hallway when the first round hit. Apparently more coming later. My local firehouse was destroyed or so people tell me. My boys are with my parents now for the weekend while I work. As far as I know everyone is ok but the storm is wicked with thunder and lightning right now.

Stay safe, JessicaFL and glad everyone is ok. It's still storming pretty bad here. Lots of lightning. The tornado passed about a mile south of us (thankfully).

I'm in a suburb of OKC and it came damn close to my home. Between all the tornados and earthquakes I'm ready to move out of this state. I've lived here all my life and never thought I would say that but after last night...It was scary. We had several come right around us.

I think...therefore, I'm single.

It is what it is.
