Thanks.

One incident I was a spectator on the street

Two were work related

Its the third that has me upset.

A customer came to the door 10 mins after we closed. He didnt knock on the door, he banged furiously as if he wanted to punch someone.

He accused us of not doing our job because we didnt make three attempts to his house. I ended up yelling at him because he tried to get into the employees side of the office (8 or 9 yrs ago I was told to challenge anyone who tried to get in). If his mother was a former employee as he said he would have known his actions were wrong as were his beliefs as how we do our job.

I ended up giving him what he wanted just to get him out of there and get his mean assed self out of my bosses face.

This guy was initially walking the violent line

I also loathe yelling at people, but he knows not to try and get into the office. As boss said, door says "private".

Damd people

(The. Chocolate isnt working peeps)

Eta: Few tbings going through my head:

1. How can one expect kids to behave properly if adults behave badly (explains a lot)

2. I think it was Aesir who said the one thing you can count on is people behaving poorly

3. Just have to roll with it cuz they are they arent going to change

I have the highest respect for anyone who has to work with the public. SO MANY rude people live in this world.

Call the police the next time someone bangs violently on the door at work. Do not respond to crazy, violent people. Walk away and call the police.
