Your movies were fantastical fun for me as a child. And they made me love watching synchronized swimming at the Olympics. Thank you.

She was a member of my church, though in recent years she only attended occasionally. Always friendly and kind, and even more beautiful in person than on screen. She will be missed by many.

How old was she?

nowiknow23 posted 6/6/2013 22:24 PM

I think she was 91.

I had not heard this yet. I loved loved her. She was a kind, sweet, whitty, wonderful lady. Her movies were the bomb. I can't tell you how many summer days were spent in my pool coreographing the next great Esther Movie. LOL

RIP Eshter.

I loved watching her movies on TV when I was a kid.

That's three gone in the last month.....
Deanna Durbin (what an incredible soprano voice!)
Jean Stapleton (best known as Edith Bunker, but she was so much more)
Esther Williams....
