I occasionally message with friends, and I don't know why but I always get a giggle out of the way it says "Friend is typing...".
Cheap thrills for simple minds.

FaithFool, I can relate. I message by DDs when they are out. I enjoy sending a message and waiting for their response because the longer it takes for them to type back the longer the message. Then I know they're okay because mom is a stickler for details.
