Blackberry Q10--anyone have one?

Alas, I hold out no longer. I have joined the Crackberry crowd. I bought the new Q10 and OMG, I'm ashamed to say I love it. Now I just have to learn how to use it properly. (And remember to keep it charged and on my person--a far greater challenge for me!) The keyboard is wonderful. Even my arthritic fingers can manage it.

Are there any quirks/problems/neat things I need to know about this bit of technology? I'd appreciate any/all help!

Lynn... Welcome to Crackberry World...

The Q10 is very new... but I am planning to get it soon... VERY soon!!!

I'm glad to hear you love it. I don't know of any quirks/problems or neat things yet... but I'll keep you posted as soon as I get mine.

Jrc, my S/O works in wireless so he always has the latest, and he's always hounding me for being a Luddite far as cell phones are concerned. His protestations about my lack of connectedness fell on deaf ears, but then my son and daughter added their voices. Mummy has a tendency to face plant (haven't had my annual one yet!) and they think I should be able to call for help if needed. Blah blah blah. What decided me was attending an art show/sale and seeing young artists taking credit cards on their smart phones! Ah yes, that I can relate to. I'll let my S/O and kids think they won, but really it was totally a business decision! Now I wonder what took me so long. My daughter got all excited yesterday morning, texting with me as I rode the streetcar--LOL. She never thought she'd see the day. Neither did I.

I've been in the Crackberry World for just a few short years... but I love it.

I don't want to go to a non-physical (touch screen) keyboard... I hope I don't have to.

I had phones with QWERTY keyboards prior to my Crackberry... Not ready to go to an all touch screen. And I'm not an APP junky so I don't miss that.

I really want an Iphone for a few reasons but as long as Blackberry has that keyboard they will have my business. I am due for an upgrade soon and was considering the Q10. My current 3 year old blackberry will be off contract soon though and it still does what I need it to do so I will hold off until it's too outdated to work properly.

Go softly my sweet friend. You will always be a part of who I am.

My current Blackberry Bold isn't working well at all... the Keyboard is complete crap... buttons stick and repeat...

But overall it's a good phone.

My S/O has an older model BB--still new, but not the newest-- but he took one look at mine and I swear to God, he started to salivate!

I think that's what S/O has, too. You have to pull the keyboard out from the main body of the phone????

Yay! The camera is really quite good. I photographed my friends' peonies during this weekend's kayaking trip. Great quality in the closeups.

Awesome News Lynn...

I goofed and deleted a bunch of emails from the phone and they deleted from my email on the computer too... and now I can't recover them... but that's not the phones fault.
