I have not heard back from my atty and I have so many concerns:
Will I get a copy of this Discovery CD?
Why send it in CD form?
My main concern is that he will put in a lot of extraneous stuff to hike up my legal bills!
Does one have a face 2 face meeting to go over what he has sent her?
Help kind folks who have gone through this & thanks.

I don't know what a Discovery CD is. Sorry! Just don't want your question hanging out with you thinking no one's seen it. I see it, I care, I'm just clueless.

Thanks, NG.
Instead of answering my lawyer's Discovery with documents in paper, he sent it to her in CD format (knowing how tech challenged I am
).
Hate him!

Oh, I get it now. Okay then. So, he's sticking it to you because your lawyer will have to print out paper copies of everything. And of course you'll be charged for every single piece of paper.

I received some discovery on a CD. I don't know what the attorneys did with their stuff on the CD, but I'd guess they did have to print it out and look it over.
I think it's delivered on a CD just to save paper or delivery charges.
You should definitely get a copy of it. My group just burned me a copy of the CD. I saw that a lot of the pages were useless and only printed those that were informational. It wasn't that hard to open up and read.
Mine sent his stuff in a highly disorganized manner, and did include extra things, no doubt to hike up bills.
I'm not sure how much of a face-to-face meeting you'll have, having had only one divorce to go through! With mine, I had to go through and organize things so that I could see what was missing. If you think there are errors and omissions with what your STBX sends, you'd want to point out that out.
Does that help?

Yes, it certainly does! STBX has run tech rings around me for years...now he is trying to do this with my lawyer.
Thanks so much.
This helps a lot.
