I read that. Really sad. The fact that he was brazen enough to do it in public, with people around is what is most scary to me. If he'll do that in public, what will he do in private?

Just goes to prove that ANYONE can be a victim of domestic abuse. When I saw the pictures I wanted to physically attack that jerk.

Um, yeah, just joking. Right.
I will say, I find them both distasteful in pretty much every way. He was one of her first husband's best friends. Shortly after the first husband's death, Saatchi left his wife for Nigella. He is widely known to be a horribly unpleasant man, so nothing much would surprise me there.
