My 93 year old father was admitted to the hospital yesterday. He has an infection and it seems like he had a stroke, but we don't know for sure because he can't get an MRI due to his pacemaker. We'll see what the second CT scan shows today and what the neurologist says. He hasn't said a word since yesterday morning and hasn't been able to eat since Monday night.

I'm asking for positive thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery so we can get him back home to his usual self. TIA!

He has meningitis and the infection is in his brain. Dr basically told us at his age and his state, it's usually fatal. Keeping the hope that my pops will be the exception. I'm more worried about my mom than anything.

Prayers for strength!

Update on Pop...

The doctors are pretty much amazed at the turnaround he has made....he's off the feeding tube, talking more, very alert and recognizes all of us. I guess he's not ready to leave us just yet.

He's still in the hospital and still on antibiotics...but making a strong recovery and hopefully we can get him home soon.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers. They all mean the world!
