We had a special ESL testing session (for one, private office) at the school today. All we knew was that it would be a VIP.
So in she comes with her parents (or guardians more likely I think), very nice young lady from Japan.
I asked for her photo ID and she hands me her passport.
She signs her name with one word and the passport says "Member of Imperial Family of Japan" and she is "Her Imperial Highness".
That was a first.
A bright moment in the midst of a rather shiteous day where we had a major high stakes online exam to give, the global server crashed and we had to send the first session home.
Yin Yang kinda day.

Yes, life was interesting today....
Having to tell 14 wannabe doctors that they might have to bail on their first year acceptance if they couldn't book another slot for their exams was not a fun moment.
Now I know how the airline peeps feel when flights get cancelled.
And about half of them had travelled and booked hotels to get there for it.
At 7:00 am.
My poor boss had that headset on for close to three hours straight, getting shunted from Mumbai to Jakarta to Amsterdam and back again trying to get Level 2 tech support on the line.
They finally got it up in time for the afternoon session.

It's my life now, my choices, my mistakes to make and my victories to celebrate. His choices made me free of liars and betrayers in my life. That is priceless.
