Last night, finally I told my BS the lot. No more holding back on the truth and minimising what I had done.

I've been TTing and lying previous to this but finally realised that I can't possibly be the loving, trustworthy person I long to be while ever I wasn't totally open.

It was painful and has hurt her a lot and set us back greatly, I only wish I'd done it months ago.

At the moment, in her eyes, I've gone from being a newly improved, loving husband to the same old one who could lie to her face, but I do feel its been worth it.

I would recommend to anyone, get it all out- the sooner the better!

Also, how to take stop signs off posts? Sorry, bit new to this!

Good for you. I know it feels good when nothing is a secret anymore.

Truth be told I didn't hold anything back from my husband on D-Day. He knew everything. Although I did back at the beginning of the year tell my husband the gruesome details about the A. Like sex stuff. Because he wanted to know. Telling him that was the hardest thing I ever told him, but honestly I think it was worth it because I feel like it helped him heal a bit. I know that he is "over" this at all and won't be for a long time. But I feel like telling him helped him.

I know it was probably a really hard thing to do, and you should be happy you did. At least now you know that your BS knows everything. This A will probably hurt her for the rest of her life because it was something that the love of her life did to her. She will heal and things will get better.

Just keep up the good work in your healing and you will get through this. It is a long road but it is possible.

Hi and welcome Pa9rw

Also, how to take stop signs off posts? Sorry, bit new to this!

When you start a new thread in Wayward, there is a check box right under the text box with a little red Stop

Sign. The default in Wayward is for that to be checked. Next time you start a new thread, just uncheck that box, and there won't be a Stop Sign.

Let me or any of the other mods know if you have any problems
