Me... That's who.

gahurts posted 6/21/2013 20:07 PM

yeah... me too.

But I am exhausted for some reason and have been tired all day.

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 20:09 PM

I'm not exhausted...

It's just pouring down rain here and I don't feel like going out... nowhere to go anyway.

ThoughtIKnewYa posted 6/21/2013 20:09 PM

Me.

I got rid of DD and H for a while today, so I could get some stuff done. I was exhausted by the time they got back, but I got a lot done!!

ThoughtIKnewYa posted 6/21/2013 20:11 PM

Pouring rain?? I haven't been watching the weather. Is that headed up to the Carolinas?

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 20:13 PM

TIKY... what did you do?

I did some organizing in the garage before it got too hot in there...

Refilled bird feeders...

Made Simple Syrup for tea...

Did a load of laundry...

I think I did a few more things but I can't remember now.

I doubt it... it's just the average everyday heat related pop-up shower.

I heard about something tropical, but last I heard it was headed to Mexico.

Should have come with me for Blackberry margaritas!

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 20:16 PM

SAD - you didn't give me quite enough notice... I believe it would take me about 10 hours to drive to your area.

ThoughtIKnewYa posted 6/21/2013 20:17 PM

I cleaned the kitchen and made squash casserole. Cleaned the kitchen again and made zucchini bread. Cleaned the kitchen again...

Then, I vacuumed and did four loads of laundry, folded and put away.

Tended to my garden.

Fed the cats- and cleaned the kitchen again!

ETA: Prior to the first kitchen clean listed here, I made a Veg Curry and Red Rice to send to MIL. My main veggies were zucchini and squash. Notice a theme?

JRC: If you leave early enough in the morning, we can go again tomorrow night, then have House of Pies Sunday morning

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 20:21 PM

OMG SAD... that is so tempting!

Can I crash on your floor?

ETA: TIKY... Got some Squash and Zucchini to get rid of? I love homemade Zucchini bread...

Bored here too...

Well, I should be working on my class...but ya know...

...bored...

ThoughtIKnewYa posted 6/21/2013 20:47 PM

Yep. I have a little squash and zucchini hanging around. This is the first year the dreaded squash vine borer hasn't gotten my plants- yet, anyway.

I'm thinking I'll be pickling cucumbers next week or the week after.

I hope we don't get anything tropical for a while. It causes all kinds of mildew issues on my plants.

Go to Texas!! That would be a blast!

This is why I'm bored....
I'm left handed, so I can't do very much right now...can't get my fingers wet....had osteoarthritic bumps removed on two DIP joints yesterday...
Hey, but I can still type!!!

..and H has been very helpful!

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 20:56 PM

LF - does that feel as bad as it looks?

TIKY - I will get to Texas one of these days.

Sad in AZ posted 6/21/2013 21:01 PM

JRC-I might even clean off the couch for you!

looking forward posted 6/21/2013 21:04 PM

No, not now.
It was throbbing yesterday and I have to keep my hand elevated for another day. I get to change the bandages tomorrow. Now, that will be a challenge....using my right hand to fix my left...
I've had this minor surgery before.....
Thank you, Mom, for osteoarthritis......my youngest son has the beginnings of OA...he's thanking me now.

jrc1963 posted 6/21/2013 21:29 PM

SAD - Really? A whole Couch... I must be special!!!
