I'm not exhausted...

It's just pouring down rain here and I don't feel like going out... nowhere to go anyway.

TIKY... what did you do?

I did some organizing in the garage before it got too hot in there...

Refilled bird feeders...

Made Simple Syrup for tea...

Did a load of laundry...

I think I did a few more things but I can't remember now.

I doubt it... it's just the average everyday heat related pop-up shower.

I heard about something tropical, but last I heard it was headed to Mexico.

SAD - you didn't give me quite enough notice... I believe it would take me about 10 hours to drive to your area.

I cleaned the kitchen and made squash casserole. Cleaned the kitchen again and made zucchini bread. Cleaned the kitchen again...

Then, I vacuumed and did four loads of laundry, folded and put away.

Tended to my garden.

Fed the cats- and cleaned the kitchen again!

ETA: Prior to the first kitchen clean listed here, I made a Veg Curry and Red Rice to send to MIL. My main veggies were zucchini and squash. Notice a theme?

Yep. I have a little squash and zucchini hanging around. This is the first year the dreaded squash vine borer hasn't gotten my plants- yet, anyway.

I'm thinking I'll be pickling cucumbers next week or the week after.

I hope we don't get anything tropical for a while. It causes all kinds of mildew issues on my plants.

Go to Texas!! That would be a blast!

No, not now.

It was throbbing yesterday and I have to keep my hand elevated for another day. I get to change the bandages tomorrow. Now, that will be a challenge....using my right hand to fix my left...

I've had this minor surgery before.....

Thank you, Mom, for osteoarthritis......my youngest son has the beginnings of OA...he's thanking me now.
